1. Please refer to the NZPCA website to familiarise yourself with the aims and rules of the pony club 'code of conduct' rules

2. All riders must wear helmets. Cross country sessions require the wearing of back protectors, so please always bring one with you. Riding with only a halter is not permitted. Riding members are expected to wear a pony club shirt when riding at rallies, tidy riding wear and safe footwear.

3. Riding members are expected to attend 50% of rallies per year, in order to be exempt from the use of facilities fees, and to qualify for the childs pony club grazing rate.

4. Riding members are expected to help maintain the facilities, eg, rake area, join in working bees, etc.

5. All members are invited to attend committee meetings, whether on the committee or not.

6. Every member is expected to attend at least three working bees a year. If the member cannot attend please find someone else to take your place.

7. All members of Paihia Branch are registered with the district Bay Of Islands Pony Club and are expected to support at least one of the four organised district events as a helper or to send someone in their place.

8. New members are required to fill in a Membership form for riding members, Adult Members and Technical Members" and parents/guardians children under 21 are required to complete the form "Agreement for Persons Responsible for a Horse"
