Join us for Oakhurst Schooling Horse Trials II Sept 10, 2023!
Sept 09: All courses open for walking – Competitors only may school from 9:00AM to 5:00PM with coaches for $50 (added onto your entry). Schooling will close at 5:00PM to allow the team time to make any repairs needed to the course prior to the competition.
Sept 10: EV110/EV100, EV105/EV100, EV100, EV90, EV85, EV75, EV60 8:00am - dressage; 9:00am-show jumping; 10:00am-cross country.
Weekend stabling is available. Provincial Sport Licences (Ontario Equestrian or Cheval Quebec) only.
Entry to stabling is through the main entrance: 8249 Fernbank Rd. Follow signs - Negative Coggins test required within 12 months for stabling only.

CROSS COUNTRY: T – 2800m @ 450mpm; PT – 2000m @ 400mpm; E – 1600m @ 350mpm; PE – 1350m @ 325mpm GH - 1000m Terrain: New fences at all levels for 2022. Solid, straightforward course. Water options at Entry through Training levels. Ground is flat, with good galloping.
AWARDS: Prizes and ribbons to winners in all divisions.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Lots of hotels available in Kanata close to Highway 417. Primitive camping available on grounds (no hook-ups).
DIRECTIONS: Hwy 7: 10km East of Carleton Place, take Dwyer Hill Road South. 2km turn left on Fernbank Road. 0.5km to Event site at 8249 Fernbank Rd. Stabling and trailer parking is at 8249 Fernbank Road – once on the laneway take the first right to get to stabling and trailer parking.
