2025 Loch Moy PYT Year-End High Score Champions

The highest score of the year in each of the following levels will recieve a High Score Ribbon at the end of the series: Introductory, Training, First, Second, Third, Fourth, FEI TOC, and  Eventing TOC. Rider must have ridden in at least two (2) PYT dressage shows to be eligible for a High Score Award. 

Dressage Show

Dressage tests $45 each and Fix-a-Test rounds are $70 each.

As in the past, all judges will offer brief feedback at the end of your dressage test!

The Pick Your Time/Test schooling dressage shows afford competitors the chance to ride any test at any available time of day. Riders use an online form to select their tests, their ride times, and to submit paperwork and payment. The earlier one signs up, the more likely that preferred time slots are still open. Enter now!

Fix-a-Test also offered! Like a mini dressage lesson--you will perform your test and then get feedback from the judge, work on problem areas and ride the test again, if desired. Limited spots available - large or small ring test.

Leadline dressage tests will be offered. Use one of our suggested tests or find your own. Para dressage, gaited, Western, and Young Horse tests are also welcome and encouraged.

Ribbons: For these shows, riders will be pinned using the Danish system. Tests scoring:

• 70% or higher get a blue ribbon
• 66%-69.999% get a red ribbon
• 62%-65.999% get a yellow ribbon
• 57%-61.999% get a white ribbon
• 52%-56.999 get a pink ribbon

This method rewards the rider's hard work and individual accomplishments without the stress of head-to-head competition.

Remember that you "own" your ride slot. If you're not able to come you're responsible for either filling the slot or paying for it.

Times and tests are emailed or posted by the Thursday before the event. Please check that everything is correct before the show! 

Blue Ribbon Show Jump Rounds - come and ride within your jump height's time window. Check in at the in gate. ALL CLEAR ROUNDS will receive a blue ribbon. $35 per round if entering before the show. Extra rounds available with time permitting the day of the show for $40. We will update the schedule below based on the number of entries if needed before the show.

9:00am -10:00am - 18inches (Intro)

10:15am -11:15am - 2FT -2FT3" (Elementary) 

11:30am - 12:45pm - 2FT7" (Beginner Novice)

1:00pm - 2:00pm - 2FT11" (Novice)

2:15pm - 3:00pm - 3FT3" (Training)

3:15pm - 3:45pm - 3FT5" (Modified)

4:00pm - 4:20pm - 3FT7" (Preliminary)

4:30pm-5:00pm - 3FT7" + (Intermediate and Advance) 

XC Schooling: Front field cross country is open for schooling for $65 the day of the show

Special Event Conditions

• You can ONLY enter via Compete Easy. No paper, email or PayPal entries.
• Bridle numbers will not be available at the show. You must PRINT and bring the bridle number that will be emailed to you with the ride times. Bring your numbers or pinny holder with you! Use the back of an old bridle number or buy a universal bridle number.
• Refunds – Before final closing, refunds less $25 office fee. After closing, refunds will only be given if someone fills your place from any wait list entries. If there is no wait list there will be NO REFUND and NO CREDIT for another show! We do NOT trasfer entries to future shows.
